Because You Were Wondering, Too

Swimming in syrup is as easy as swimming in water. The rigorous study of the issue was published in American Institute of Chemical Engineers Journal. They first had their volunteers swim timed laps in a swimming pool full of water and then added 300 kg of guar gum (a thickener) to the pool and then had the swimmers repeat their laps.

I have no idea what to do with this info.

I’m still looking for an answer to my other nagging question, what happens if you put a fish in carbonated water?

  1. Your cute little fish will die if you put it in carbonated water.

I have no idea if it’s fun or not to see it dying this way. I guess it is.

During November it's all about me writing a novel. Sometimes it's about whalewatching. You know, and then there's other stuff.
