      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Currently in production is Cybele May&#8217;s first audio presentation. <b>The Redeemer</b> directed by Norman Kern is set for release late Fall 2008 by <a href="http://crazydreamsound.com/" title="Crazy Dream Sound">Crazy Dream Sound</a>. </p>

<p>Cybele May&#8217;s most recent collection of one-act plays, The Parking Lot Plays, was produced at Theatre/Theater in Hollywood and was heralded by the Los Angeles Times in 2003 as &#8220;A refreshing authorial voice ... an epic survivor&#8217;s monologue recalling Jean Cocteau ... a sardonic attack worthy of Shirley Jackson ... industry headhunters should scope out the inhabitants therein.&#8221; Her one-acts have been produced all over Los Angeles, including The Intercession at North Hollywood&#8217;s Interact Theatre as part of The Last Gasp. The Intercession was also produced by Women in Theatre at the Ventura Court Theatre, and at the LACC Annual Short Play Festival along with another one-act, Male Order. Her play A Grave Mistake has also been produced as an award-winning short film, entropy, directed by Daniel T. Green, and was distributed by Atom Films. Ms. May is a graduate of Humboldt State University (BA) and Carnegie Mellon University (MFA). She most recently served as Literary Associate for the Ojai Playwrights Conference.</p>
