I’m trying to find information on Dietz Candy and Overland Candy companies both owned by Sol Leaf in the 1930s. I believe both companies operated from what is now 1732 W. Hubbard, Chicago and merged into Leaf Gum. They produced a few scarce sports collectibles including the 1934 Al Demaree Die-Cuts that went with the candy. Does anyone know anything about the 2 companies or the Sol Leaf family?
