I was looking through a Hershey’s gift catalog, and then looked on their website and every gift item that has Rolo’s in it just says that the gift includes Chewy Caramels in Milk Chocolate instead of Rolo’s

example : http://www.hersheygifts.com/Occasions/Holiday/AllGifts/3205185.aspx

any ideas why they might be doing that?

I haven’t looked at the ingredient list of them recently so maybe they’re one of the kinds made with oil now instead of cocoa butter

That is weird!

Maybe they’re not naming names in case they substitute something like the Caramel Kisses?

Hershey’s didn’t invent Rolos. They bought the license from Rowntree of the UK (now owned by Nestle). This is the same situation they have with KitKat. Maybe there’s some sort of deal that says that they can’t sell them by name like this?
