caramels are too hard

I tried a new caramel recipe(i lost mine) today. I followed the recipe to a t and my caramels came out like a rock. is there anything i can do to fix them?

I would use a pre-made crust because I am lazy

does anyone know if the recipie would have to change if the only thing I planned on using that is different from the recipe as written is switching out the sugar free patties for the regular kind?

Mr. Goodbar Replacement?

I’m a foodie - I can admit it. :D And so it seems I have caused my daughter to be a foodie at the tender age of 10. She actually teared up when I told her about the Mr. Goodbar’s demise to the mockolate-dark side. It’s her favorite candy bar, poor girl. Now I am trying to find a replacement and guess what? So far - no luck! Peanuts seems to be passe with all the REAL chocolate companies. Ritter Sport has a new milk chocolate bar with whole peanuts, but I don’t think it will be the same texture/flavor experience being whole nuts and a much thicker bar.

Has anyone seen a replacement for Mr. Goodbar - chopped peanuts in milk chocolate? If you have - I will be forever grateful for you pointing me in the right direction!

Pink and Purple M&M;’s Collective Figures HELP!

Hey everyone!!! I have a question!

So my Grandma from New York is in. She is in search for these “M& M’s collective Figures that have candy in them”. She said her friend wants one and NY doesn’t sell them.
They come out every year with two different colors. This year it’s Purple and Pink. They are like M&M;’s body with candy in the middle. I’m not really sure what the hell she’s talking about, neither do anyone else. So if you do, let me know!!! Pleaseeeeee.

Does anyone have any secrets where I can buy these, in bulk, CHEAP!! I eat them in quantity (they’re like Lay’s Potato Chips!) and I just am so annoyed to have to pay at leat .$35 for ONE!! And that’s on the cheap side I’ve seen. These things are AMAZING, especially the white!!

New Flavors of Hershey Kisses

I was recently in Walmarts, and noticed a variety of new flavors of Hershey Kisses, like vanilla yogurt? Cookies and creme, and of course old favorites like cherry cordial and one other...I’ve seen the NY Cheesecake at Sams Club, I am guessing all these are limited edition? They were kind of pricey at $3.50 a bag at Wal Mart, and I’m not sure how much they are at Sams.

Is there any other flavors I may have missed that are currently out there? Has anyone tried these?

They came in a box in the grocery store. In the box there were five or six packs with little half moon fruit snacks. They were like the first fruit snacks in like the 80s. There was grape, orange, and cherry. I have not seen them in years.
