One of the things that pops up with startling regularity in the Candy tag is a candy vendor at the Mercat la Boqueria in Barcelona, Spain. So I did a quick search and found more than a smattering of them (well here are 48 at least):
Has anyone ever shopped at this market or bought anything there? How much are those gummis?
Hi!
I live in Barcelona, and watching some of this photos, I think these cansys are the same that are sell in any shop where they sell candys. I mean, most of them are the common candys that we eat here.
And… maybe are not the best quality, but I like them! hehehe
If I have the chance to go to the Boqueria I will take a look on it.
( sorry about my English…)
See you!

Hey! I just live in Barcelona too, and Bea is all right, these kind of gummis are very, very common here, and we have lots of candy shops where you can find it, they are not like Dylan’s Candy (NY) but it’s worth it! All of you just must come amd visit!!!
g - San Francisco is great for chocolate ... there are still a few places that I haven’t tried yet.
Sera - I’m sure there are quite a few of us sweet-toothed photographer types (who like to share as much as view).
Kixx - there are definitely some in those piles I’ve never seen before, and of course they’re so pretty.
Bea - yes, I’m sure that the appearance of the candy is what’s so attractive. I know that some of the gummis there are quite common and Spain does some really good candies.
Montsinya - I’d love to visit Spain again, especially Barcelona (I did Madrid/Sevilla/Costa del Sol). I hear the food there is phenomenal.
Meticulously photographed and documented reviews of candy from around the world. And the occasional other sweet adventures. Open your mouth, expand your mind.

We’re already planning our next food related trip to San Francisco, but I think this might have to be put on the list for next year!
I thought I was the only one that endlessly searched through Flickr…..
Oh my - I would be so overwhelmed. I think I would have to get two of everything. One to try and one in case I liked the first one.
