Candy Source: Candy Baron - Santa MonicaI went to a new candy shop last weekend. I was on a quest for Ribbon Candy which seemed oddly difficult to find. I found The Candy Baron in Santa Monica. A small chain of shops, they seemed a good alternative to the mall shop called Sweets Factory.
They’re just off the Promenade in Santa Monica on Santa Monica Blvd. There are only five locations total (Santa Monica, Laguna Beach, Long Beach, San Francisco and Eugene, OR) but they do have a website where you can order and have it shipped to you. I’m still on a quest for a good place to buy inexpensive bulk candies in Los Angeles. If anyone has any suggestions, I’m ready to go. POSTED BY Cybele AT 2:05 pm Shopping • Los Angeles •

Meticulously photographed and documented reviews of candy from around the world. And the occasional other sweet adventures. Open your mouth, expand your mind.

Have you tried Garvey Nut & Candy in Commerce? They have a giant selection of just about any (domestic) candy you can think of - well, aside from regional-type candies such as *gulp* Valomilks. You can buy a ton of different types of bulk candy there - I discovered it while buying for my candy buffet at our wedding reception.
have you tried marcy’s ice cream & candy store in torrance? i haven’t been in yet, but it looks darling.
