All Sugar Free Week (May 5-9)I never thought it could happen, but here I am slating full week of reviews of candies that contain no sugar (no glucose, sucrose or fructose) - all without breaking my own rule of no artificial sweeteners.
You can look forward to reviews of: SparX & Xylichew (xylitol), Hershey’s Sugar Free Chocolate, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups & York Peppermint Patties (sorbitol), MarieBelle Maya Chocolate Bar (no sweeteners, just milk), Michel Cluizel Cacao Forte bonbon & Noir Infinity bar (no sugar at all) and finally a roundup of 99-100% dark chocolates from Bonnat, Dagoba & Meiji and even a baking chocolate bar. Do they all qualify as candy? We’ll find out ... Related Candies

I am excited!
Have you ever gotten hands on anything from Rogers chocolates out of Victoria, BC? I mention it because they market a sugar-free milk chocolate bar, but they mainly do very famous buttercreams and chocolate bars. Just a thought.

I’m also excited for these reviews. I love ridiculously dark chocolate.
I think the fake stuff is gross. I had a little ice cream place in New York and the no sugar added ice cream was a big hit and tasted more than decent!!
I know that dosen’t speak to candy…but dosen’t candy mean sugar in latin?....lol just kidding.
Thank you for this sweet blog…it takes me back to the penny a piece times. Sugar is finally doing the walk of shame. And while I might aid and abet sugar….I think the jig is up anywho.

Any chance you would consider reviewing a sugar free hard candy piece, too? I know firsthand that there are thousands of sugar free hard candy consumers who are wandering aimlessly now that Peerless closed its doors. Some of the Russell Stover sugar-free stuff is pretty good. I get them for more father who is diabetic.
ewwwww. though i suppose it’s good for the diabetics out there. but still. ewwwwww.
HOORAY! Sugar affects me really badly so I’ve been trying to strictly limit my intake for the past week or so, and like you, I refuse to put artificial sweeteners in my body. ugh!
