   I really love your blog and read it via Google Reader. Unfortunately, none of the images show when I view your feed. Just an “Image” link in Firefox, or a broken image in IE7. Other feedburner-based feeds show images correctly, and in fact if I look at the raw feedburner-feed I do see the images. I couldn’t find any other way to contact you. Hope you don’t mind. Thanks again for a great blog.

   Bwana - yes, I’m really sorry that the feeds can’t show the photos. I’ve had some issues with bandwidth drain (basically kiddies on MySpace hotlinking photos). If I allowed images to be viewed offsite I couldn’t afford my hosting package (literarlly hundreds of thousands of hits a month on the photos alone that would probably amount to 500 gigabytes).

   Unfortunately the feeds can never replace visiting the site entirely (you can’t see the comments via feed either).

   I’ve safelisted Bloglines, so if you were to view the feed there it would be complete with the images.

   I’ll see if there’s a way I can add google reader to the safe list (however, google image search is how most myspacers find the images in the first place, so it might just make things worse). Maybe I can tinker with it this weekend.

   “This is your caramel bar!  Nestle’s hundred thousand dollar bar!”
   That was the jingle and for some reason it has been lodged in my brain since 1975.  I can’t tell you my phone number or anything useful but oh how those jingles stick!  Love your blog, been lurking for quite some time and the 100 Grand moved me to write.  Oh yeah, it tasted better in the 70’s too.

   Ugh…I’m not a fan of coconut at all.  I think this is one limited edition candy bar I will not be adding to my gut.

   Huh.  I was very happy with the 100 Grand the way it was.  I’m not sure I’d even want coconut in there much less messing up my caramel.  I’ll keep an eye out for one (because I figure I should try it before I decide I hate it) but I seem to have a hard time finding the limited edition bars.

   Jamie - I don’t think I’ve had a Samoa in years! I guess GSC season is coming soon too.

   Mary- That’s absolutely it (I had the Nestle’s 100 thousand dollar bar part, but that was all.)

   Marvo - I’m curious to see if it pops up in Hawaii.

   William - I don’t think this is LtdEd, or at least they forgot to put it on the wrapper. (The last couple of Lt. Ed. 100 Grands have had a gold script on them ... this one doesn’t.)

    I just found the 100 Grand w/coconut at two of our local Dollar Tree stores in the last two weeks.  THEY ARE FANTASTIC!! I cannot find them anywhere else, though.  Is there a reason for this?  I hope they will become easier to find.  I LOVE THEM!!

    I just had the 100,000 bar with coconut and I love it!  It does help that I like the GS Samoa cookies : )

    Well what brought me to your blog is: I went to my local gas station to get a 100 grand and they were out and it seems that all the places around here do not carry them anymore so I thought that something had happened to them. Are they discontinuing them and I’m finding out the hard way?????? I hope not I’ve got to have my fix once in a while….....

    They have been discontinued.  (big sigh, I found this out in July)

    I’d say call around locally to see if you can find any spares and, you can call or write Nestle to tell them your thoughts.

    I used to LOVE $100grand, but it seems they’ve done the veg. oil thing with these so the choc. tastes terrible and the chewy caramel can’t make up for it - boo.
